Entertainment

As you can see above we will be having a ceilidh for part of the evening. Many of you will know what a ceilidh is; for those that don’t this and this should give you some idea.

Charmaine and I really enjoy a good ceilidh, they are really fun. No previous knowledge is needed as there will be someone calling out the steps.

The only word of warning would be about footwear. If you are planning on wearing heels then it’ll be worth bringing something additional in which you would feel comfortable spinning, stomping and generally cavorting.

What to wear

Please wear something smart. Suits, shirts and ties for those who wear suits and something elegant for those who don’t.

Kilts are more than welcome but by no means compulsory.

The interior of the castle should be nice and warm. The salesperson was at pains to keep telling us about the industrial heating system they use but obviously it could be pretty nippy outside if you want to enjoy the braziers.

Once again, if you are planning on wearing heels then do remember that you might want a pair of flats for the ceilidh.
